Waste handling

The majority of the products provided by Mölnlycke® shall be disposed of as clinical waste. Always follow the instructions in the user manuals, local regulations and state laws.

Packaging

All Mölnlycke packaging made of corrugated board or cardboard are recyclable and should be separated and recycled in accordance to local regulations. If additional local sorting instructions apply (e.g. in France and Spain), these packaging materials should be sorted accordingly. Mölnlycke has joined EPR schemes for packaging on the markets where such schemes are mandatory.

Electronic devices

Electronic devices provided by Mölnlycke, which are not considered to be infected prior to end-of-life, must be separated from clinical waste. These products can be identified via the crossed over waste bin logo.

The customer must arrange for the transportation (incl. costs) to the specified EARN facility. Mölnlycke will then cover the costs of treatment, recycling and recovery of the equipment. Ensure to pack the waste in accordance with applicable packing instructions. If there is no EARN facility available for your market, please contact your local Mölnlycke Customer Care.
