Shaping wound care policy across Europe
We are proud to play our part in shaping the future of wound care in Europe. Mölnlycke has been elected one of the organisations leading the Wound Care Sector Working Group at MedTech Europe, the industry association representing medical technology across the continent.

This leadership role reflects Mölnlycke’s commitment to driving meaningful change in wound care policy.
The MedTech Europe Wound Care Sector Working Group has a clear goal: raise awareness and drive systemic improvements in chronic wound care across healthcare systems in Europe. Chronic wounds represent a significant and often underestimated challenge, impacting millions of lives and placing a heavy strain on resources.
By engaging policymakers across the European Union and in multiple countries, the working group seeks to raise awareness of the challenges in wound care and establish chronic wounds as a recognised health priority. Through coordinated action, the group aims to drive systemic improvements by aligning healthcare systems, promoting transparency in resource allocation, and supporting education for healthcare professionals and patients. This industry-wide collaboration brings together leading stakeholders with a shared commitment to ensuring timely, appropriate and high-quality wound care that improves patient outcomes and supports sustainable healthcare.
Isabella Notarangelo, Mölnlycke’s Global Governmental Affairs and Policy Manager, has been elected Co-Vice-Chair of the Wound Care Sector Working Group.
By partnering with leading companies and national associations through MedTech Europe, Mölnlycke is proud to help shape a future where wounds are not only treated, but wherever possible, prevented and effectively managed.
